Andrew Parkhurst

Andrew Parkhurst is a seasoned professional with a robust background in quality assurance and bilingual support. Currently serving as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Wayne Reaves Software since October 2019, Andrew has extensive experience in Spanish interpretation, having worked as a Contract Spanish Interpreter for GA-PINES from November 2013 to May 2023. In this role, Andrew provided essential Spanish-English interpretation services to assist families with children facing developmental challenges. Additionally, Andrew has held teaching positions, including Temporary Lecturer of Spanish at Georgia College & State University and Spanish Teaching Assistant at the University of Georgia, contributing to the education of Spanish language students. Andrew possesses advanced degrees in Romance Languages with a focus on Hispanic Linguistics from The University of Georgia and Translation Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, as well as a B.A. in Foreign Languages from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
