Diana R. Goode

Diana Goode joined Wayne Health as vice president, finance, and chief financial officer in August 2018 when the organization was known as Wayne State University Physician Group.

She previously served as senior associate vice president of Finance and Treasury for Wayne State University. At WSU, she led the development of multi-year and annual capital budgeting processes; led external debt planning and issuances; directed the fiscal affairs of the university; and developed and implemented financial strategic goals and objectives.

Goode is an adjunct professor at the Mike Ilitch School of Business teaching accounting and financial analysis.

In other previous roles, Goode served as chief operating officer/chief financial officer for TechTown Detroit; as an adjunct professor of finance and accounting at Walsh College of Business in Troy, Mich.; and as controller/acting president at the Accounting Aid Society of Detroit.

Before her career in finance, Goode held a series of human resources positions, including human resources manager at J.L. Becker Company in Plymouth, Mich.; human resources/accountant at Posa-Cut Corporation in Farmington Hills; and as human resources manager/administrative assistant at Peninsular Steel Company in Warren.

Goode earned a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Accountancy at Walsh College.
