David Ripple

David Ripple has extensive experience in development and philanthropy within various organizations. Currently serving as the Vice President of Development & Alumni Affairs and President of the Wayne State Foundation since February 2023, David previously held the position of Vice President of Philanthropy at Trinity Health Michigan from December 2018 to January 2023. Earlier roles include President at The Remington Group, and Vice President of Development positions at both The Ohio State University and Wayne State University. David's career in fundraising started as Senior Development Officer at the American Red Cross, with earlier roles including Director of Major Gifts at Saint Joseph Mercy Health System and Director of Development and Public Relations at Angela Hospice. David holds a Master of Arts in English from Eastern Michigan University and Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Public Relations from Madonna University.
