James Campbell

James Campbell has over two decades of experience in athletics administration at Wayne State University, currently serving as the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities since November 2011, where responsibilities include managing building budgets, hiring and training student workers, and overseeing the scheduling and coordination of events for multiple varsity teams and intramurals. Prior to this role, Campbell was the Hockey Equipment Manager from September 2000 to August 2011, focusing on budgeting, equipment management, and travel arrangements for Division 1 ice hockey teams. Academically, Campbell holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration and another in World History, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in History, all from Wayne State University.
