Mary Rodgers

Professor, Physical And Analytical Chemistry; President, WSU Academy Of Scholars at Wayne State University

Mary Rodgers is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in the field of chemistry. Currently serving as a Professor of Physical and Analytical Chemistry and President of the WSU Academy of Scholars at Wayne State University since August 1997, Mary also held the role of Principal Investigator at MSPIRE from 2007 to October 2015 and was a Visiting Research Scientist at the FOM Institute for Plasma Physics Rijnhuizen between October 2007 and February 2013. Prior to these positions, Mary completed postdoctoral research fellowships at the University of Utah from July 1994 to July 1997 and at the California Institute of Technology from March 1992 to June 1994. Mary earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from Caltech (1985 - 1992) and a B.Sc. with Highest Honors in Chemistry and Mathematics from Illinois State University (1981 - 1985).
