William Moffitt

William Moffitt has extensive experience in school district business administration, currently serving as the Business Administrator and Board Secretary for Wayne Township Public Schools since November 2018. Prior to this role, William held similar positions at Hoboken Board of Education and Elmwood Park Public Schools, managing various business operations including accounting, budgeting, purchasing, payroll, and food service functions. William also served as Business Administrator for Paterson Public Schools, where oversight of daily business operations and facilities management was conducted. William's earlier career includes roles at the New Jersey Department of Education, specifically in fiscal oversight and analysis, as well as positions in the finance industry as a credit underwriter. Education includes a Master of Arts in Political Science and Government from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from William Paterson University of New Jersey. Additional professional courses were completed at Montclair State University and a diploma in Credit Analysis from New York University.
