Alyssa Gray

Alyssa Gray is an experienced educator with a strong background in elementary education, currently serving as a 5th grade teacher at Wayne-Westland Community Schools since August 2019. In addition to teaching responsibilities, Alyssa is a member of the school's Leadership Team, collaborating with colleagues to support and lead 5th grade teachers across the district, including providing professional development opportunities. Prior experience includes teaching 5th grade at Tipton Academy, and serving as a 4th grade teacher and grade level lead at National Heritage Academies, where Alyssa received recognition as Teacher of the Month. Additional roles include teaching 3rd grade at Elite School Management and various positions at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, where Alyssa developed leadership initiatives such as a mentoring program. Alyssa holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University.
