Brian Keller is a Senior Analyst at Waypoint. Brian previously worked as an Energy Advisor II - Comercial and Industrial Program at Franklin Energy Services from June 2013 to September 2018. In their previous role, they implemented a natural gas utility rebate program to incentivize energy efficiency projects in private and public sector commercial and industrial buildings to reduce natural gas consumption within the utility territory. Brian also worked directly with food manufacturing facilities, public schools, municipal buildings, and community colleges to provide energy efficiency expertise. Brian managed energy savings projects from start to finish, ensuring the project was viable, proposed equipment met qualifications, and the project was completed within the given time frame. Brian also performed energy audits in commercial and industrial buildings and identified energy efficient upgrades to the mechanical systems and the building envelope. Brian gave presentations to educate public school and municipal officials on the rebate program offerings and made sure customers were satisfied with the quality of work by following up with them and inspecting the business after projects were completed. Brian built relationships with members of the community and mechanical contractors to promote consistent work flow.
Brian Keller has a Bachelor of Science in Technical Systems Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Brian also has a minor in Agricultural Safety and Health. Brian is certified as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers and as a LEED AP BD+C from Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI). Brian is also certified as an Energy Manager in Training (EMIT) from the Association of Energy Engineers and as a LEED Green Associate from Green Business Certification Inc.
