Director, Strategic Project And Change Management at Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care

Sean Bisschop has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Sean started their career as a Research Coordinator at the Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest and later joined the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute in the same role. Sean then became the Manager of the Neurology Program at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute before moving on to become the Manager of Rehabilitation, Palliative Care & Complex Continuing Care at the North Simcoe Hospital Alliance. Sean then worked as a Quality Improvement Coordinator at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital. Following this, they joined the Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care as the Director of Strategic Project and Change Management. Currently, Sean operates their own business called SeanBisschop.ca, where they serve as a Strategic Planner, Facilitator, and Brain-Based Coach. Sean has also been associated with ICA Associates Inc. as a Consulting Associate since 2023.

Sean Bisschop earned a Bsc and MA in Psychology from the University of Guelph, completing their studies from 1989 to 1997. In 2006 to 2007, they obtained a Certificate in Executive Development from York University. In addition to their formal education, Sean has obtained various certifications, including a Brain-Based Coaching Certificate from the NeuroLeadership Institute in 2022, a Lean Black Belt from Leading Edge Group in 2020, an Advanced Facilitator Program from ICA Associates Inc. in 2017, and a Certified Healthcare Executive from the Canadian College of Health Leaders in 2013. Sean also holds certifications in Lean Green Belt for Healthcare from the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care in 2009 and Healthcare Executive Development from Schulich School of Business - York University. Moreover, they completed the Professional Facilitator Program from ICA Associates Inc.
