John Russell Ford

John Russell Ford has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. John Russell started their career at Trammell Crow Residential as a Manager from 2001 to 2004. John Russell then joined Wood Partners, where they worked as a Vice President of Acquisitions from 2004 to 2017. During this time, they were responsible for coordinating due diligence efforts and overseeing capital enhancement programs. In 2017, they established their own consulting company, John Russell Ford Consulting, where they provided acquisitions, dispositions, due diligence, and construction services to real estate clients until 2018. Since 2018, they have been working at Waypoint Residential, first as a Vice President of Acquisitions and currently as a Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management. In their current role, they are responsible for various aspects of multi-family due diligence, including engineering oversight, financial and operational audits, and investment presentations.

John Russell Ford earned a Bachelor's Degree in Performance/Business from Texas Tech University between 1996 and 2001. Later, between 2012 and 2014, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Texas Southern University.
