Alison Reder

Alison Reder, CAWA, currently serves as the VP of Animal Welfare & Operations at Wayside Waifs since September 2017 and is also a pet influencer, animal advocate, and blogger at Sarcastic Dog. Reder's extensive experience includes roles as a social strategist and community curator at Mod New Media, foster and adoption coordinator at ColoRADogs, and founder of Bionic Geek, LLC, which focused on wellness coaching in the tech community. Reder co-owned Little Fig Baking Company, implementing successful marketing strategies that significantly increased revenue. Previous work includes consulting for nonprofits, where Reder conducted organizational assessments and grant writing. Reder holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Wellesley College, a Master in Nonprofit Management from Regis University, and a certification in Pastry Arts.
