Austin Brady

Austin Brady has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Austin started their career at Dexia Credit Local in 2007, where they served as an Operations Analyst Structured Finance. In this role, they were responsible for monitoring and managing a securitized deal, performing tasks such as investor reporting, ratings monitoring, and modeling.

Austin then moved on to become a Portfolio Manager for European Asset Backed Securities at Dexia Credit Local, specializing in illiquid ABS positions. Austin managed a large and diverse portfolio with a focus on trade execution.

In 2014, Austin was promoted to the position of Portfolio Manager for Asset Backed Securities and Illiquid Public Sector Fixed Income. Austin'sresponsibilities expanded to managing a €9bn portfolio of international public sector loans and ABS bonds across core Europe, Asia, Australia, and EM. Austin maintained regular contact with the market and borrowers to ensure efficient portfolio management, involving trading securities, credit reviews, cashflow modeling, and relationship development.

Most recently, Austin joined Waystone in 2020 as the Director - DP Investment Management Oversight.

Austin Brady completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics and Applied Mathematics from Maynooth University in 1999-2003. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Economics from University College Cork in 2006-2007. Austin continued their education journey at University College Cork, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Financial Economics from 2012 to 2020.
