Peter Ritchie

Peter Ritchie serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Investment Oversight at Waystone since September 2021. Prior to this role, Ritchie was with British Airways for 17 years, holding positions such as Head of Equities for the British Airways Pension Investment Management Limited, where oversight encompassed £6 billion in global equity. Ritchie also led the Asia Pacific Equities division, demonstrating extensive knowledge in the region, particularly China. As a founding Director of the British Airways Retirement Plan, Ritchie focused on investment policy and strategy. Earlier experience includes managing Asia and Japan portfolios at F&C Asset Management PLC and roles in equity analysis and portfolio management at Citi and NatWest Markets. Educationally, Ritchie holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical-Industrial Robotics from UNSW and a Master’s degree in Applied Finance from Western Sydney University.
