Elahe Arani

Elahe Arani serves as the Head of AI Research for Behavior and Language at Wayve since October 2023. Concurrently, Elahe is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology, focusing on establishing an industry-based research lab that connects neuroscience and artificial intelligence, while also serving as a Visiting Fellow. Previously, Elahe held roles as Senior AI Research Manager and Senior Research Scientist at NavInfo (Europe) B.V., where Elahe drove advancements in map-making technology and led teams in developing innovative AI algorithms. With a Ph.D. in Theoretical Neuroscience and Machine Learning from Radboud University, Elahe's academic background includes research in neurophysiology and computational neuroscience, along with engagements as a Visiting Scholar at both Northwestern University and Graz University of Technology.
