Max Ziyadi

Max Ziyadi is an experienced professional in the fields of AI, data science, and machine learning, currently serving as the Embodied AI Team Lead at Wayve since October 2024. Previously, Ziyadi held multiple leadership roles at Lucid Motors from March 2021 to September 2024, where responsibilities included leading a team focused on developing AI solutions for safety, sustainability, and productivity in automotive design and production processes. Prior to this, Ziyadi worked as a Staff Data Scientist at SmartDrive Systems, contributing to the development of a Simulation Testing Platform for Autonomous Vehicles and researching machine learning solutions for safety assessments. Early in the career, Ziyadi served as a Senior Data Scientist at the Illinois Center for Transportation, specializing in deep learning for smart pavement management. Ziyadi's academic background includes a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a MSc in Highway and Transportation Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
