Oleg Sinavski

Oleg Sinavski is a highly experienced Principal Applied Scientist at Wayve since September 2021, leading research in Multimodal Large Language models, specifically Lingo-1, a foundational model for video-language applications in autonomous driving. Prior to this role, Oleg served as Vice President of Research and Development at Brain Corp, where significant achievements included scaling AI and robotics systems globally, contributing to over $100M in investments and revenue, and architecting navigation solutions for autonomous systems. Oleg's prior positions include roles as Director and Senior Research Scientist at Brain Corp, where research focused on various learning methodologies in robotics. Early career experience includes a Research Scientist role at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, contributing to motion control for the national robotic soccer team, and engineering positions developing traffic rule detection systems and inertial navigation algorithms. Oleg holds a PhD in Computational Neuroscience and Machine Learning and a Master’s degree in Theoretical Mechanics, Mechatronics, and Robotics from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute.
