Prajwal Chidananda

Prajwal Chidananda is an Applied Scientist at Wayve since September 2022, previously serving as a Deep Learning Researcher at Giant.AI from August 2021 to August 2022, where significant advancements in object pose tracking were achieved using NeRF templates. Prior experience includes a tenure at Magic Leap from February 2018 to July 2021 in various capacities, including Lead Software Engineer, focused on fully articulated hand tracking with substantial reductions in computational cost and labeling expenses. Prajwal's early career involved research roles at Carnegie Mellon University and ISRO Satellite Centre, contributing to gesture recognition and innovative algorithms for planetary landers. Prajwal holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Ramaiah Institute of Technology.
