Matt Nowicki

Co-Founder & CTO at Wazer

Matt Nowicki is the Co-Founder and CTO at Wazer. Matt has over eight years of experience in product engineering and development. Matt has a strong background in working with composite materials, as well as designing and problem solving primary mechanical systems/components. Prior to Wazer, Matt worked as a Senior Product Engineer at BD from November 2013 to May 2015, and at BioLite from March 2011 to June 2013. At BioLite, they were the lead developer of the HomeStove product, which is a biomass cook-stove that went from concept to scaled offshore manufacturing. Matt was also responsible for supporting the mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing development of the company’s first product, the CampStove. In addition, they developed numerous testing and validation devices to support ongoing projects and products, and they evaluated and selected offshore manufacturers for both single components and turnkey solutions.

Matt Nowicki has a Masters of Science in Engineering from the [University of Pennsylvania in the field of Integrated Product Design. Matt also has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in the field of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics.

They work with Terry Su - Assembly & Warehouse Manager, Ramon Merced - Facility & Warehouse Manager, and Jimmy Zheng - Sourcing & Inventory Manager. Shuhuan Yu - Product Engineer, Christian Moore - Senior Product Engineer, and Li Long - Mechatronics Engineer report to Matt Nowicki. Their manager is Nisan Lerea, Co-Founder & CEO.
