Edie Marriner is an experienced professional in environmental and policy research with a strong focus on sustainable development. Currently serving as an Associate in the Forest Solutions Group at WBCSD since May 2023, Edie previously worked as a Researcher at Global Canopy, supporting projects aimed at promoting a deforestation-free economy. Edie's background includes roles in communications consulting and network coordination for organizations like Ilal Consultancy and Climate Parliament, as well as research assistance for The Earth Commission at the University of Amsterdam. Early career experiences include positions in research and policy at Network Homes Ltd and experience gained through the Charityworks graduate program. Edie holds a Master's degree in Environmental Geography from the University of Amsterdam and an undergraduate degree in Politics from The University of Edinburgh, complemented by an ERASMUS year at Sciences Po.
