Myriam Merchan

Myriam Merchan serves as the Manager for Global Events and Outreach at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) since June 2022, focusing on senior-level engagement activities and member-centric strategies. With extensive experience across various organizations, Myriam has held positions including Senior Associate and Associate in WBCSD, leading initiatives in sustainability at World Wide Generation, and advancing urban safety strategies with the European Forum for Urban Security. Myriam's past roles encompass managing projects with UN-Habitat and IADB, as well as advising on urban safety for the city of Bogotá. Myriam holds three advanced degrees in project management and international relations from prominent institutions, including Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia and Université Sorbonne Nouvelle.
