Steve Harvey

Steve Harvey is an experienced media professional with a diverse background in photojournalism and academia. Since January 2006, Steve has served as an adjunct professor at Capital University, teaching courses such as Electronic Media Writing, Broadcast Announcing, and Oral Communications. Steve has played a significant role in redesigning curricula, enhancing practical learning opportunities, and raising the profile of students through internships and industry partnerships. Alongside academic pursuits, Steve has been a TV news photojournalist at WBNS-TV since January 1981, where skills include live storytelling and multimedia reporting. Steve's career began in the late 1970s and has included various roles in television and radio, marked by the development of newscasts and a commitment to advancing journalistic standards through technology. Steve holds a Master's degree in Journalism from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from Kent State University.
