Mia Monet is a skilled journalist with experience in both anchoring and reporting, currently serving as an Anchor & Reporter at WBRZ-TV since December 2022, where responsibilities include setting up liveshots for the morning show and anchoring the Sunday morning newscast. Prior experience includes serving as a Multimedia Journalist at WDAM from February 2021 to August 2022, where Mia was responsible for shooting, editing, and writing stories. Previous roles also include a Production Assistant on the set of ‘Queen of the South’ with The Walt Disney Company and serving as Tuskegee Campus Media Chief of Staff during which Mia produced numerous articles as a reporter/writer. Mia holds a degree in Communications, Communication and Media Studies from Tuskegee University, where education was completed from 2016 to 2020.
