David C. Beck

David C. Beck serves as the Executive Vice Dean and Operations Officer at the University of Pittsburgh since November 2009, also holding roles such as Associate Professor and Co-Director of the Advanced Practice Provider Leadership Certificate Course. Beck is the Founder of Doctor of Medical Science and Doctor of PA Studies programs and previously acted as Vice Dean and Chief Operating Officer of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. Additional experience includes participation as a Delegate for the American Academy of Physician Associates and a PA Faculty Reviewer for Osmosis.org from Elsevier. With a diverse background in various medical and academic positions, Beck holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Management from the University of Pittsburgh and multiple degrees from Saint Francis University.
