Paul Messina

Paul Messina is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in news production and instruction. Currently serving as a Senior Assignment Editor at WCNC Charlotte since July 2022, Messina previously worked at NBC News Channel from April 2009 to September 2021 as a National Feed Producer. In this role, responsibilities included selecting stories for the National Feed and supporting writers with story developments. As a Freelance Writer/Producer, Messina managed the weekend National News Feed and contributed to prominent programs like NBC Nightly News and MSNBC. Earlier experience includes teaching technical and editorial skills at the Carolina School of Broadcasting and serving as a Traffic Anchor at Roads Traffic.
