Kevin Kalia is a seasoned broadcast engineering professional with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at WCVB Channel 5 since July 2023, Kevin previously held the same position at WGAL 8 Susquehanna Valley from August 2019 to July 2023. Prior to that, Kevin worked as the Assistant Chief Engineer at WYFF-TV from December 2016 to August 2019. Kevin's career began at WTAE-TV, where Kevin served as a Digital Content Manager and Producer for "Channel 4 Action News at 6:00" from February 2007 to December 2016. Kevin also produced content for WTAJ-TV's "10 News at 6:00" and "10 News at 11:00" from September 2004 to February 2007 and worked as a Production Assistant/Intern with the Altoona Curve in 2004. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Penn State University, where Kevin studied from 2000 to 2004.
