Amador Velasquez

Amador Velasquez is an experienced technology professional with extensive background in the media industry. Currently serving as the Director of Technology at WDIV Local 4 News/ClickOnDetroit since November 2020, Amador previously held the position of Technology Manager at NBCUniversal, Inc. from December 2014 to November 2020, and served as Chief Engineer at both KTVZ-TV and KECY FOX 9 from December 2007 to November 2014 and May 2000 to December 2007, respectively. Amador began a career in technology as a Multi-Channel Transmission Systems Operator/Maintainer in the US Army from June 1995 to June 1999. Educational credentials include studies at ITT Technical Institute-San Diego from 2002 to 2004 and Arizona Western College from 2005 to 2007.
