Jaap Jan de Jong

Jaap Jan de Jong has extensive work experience in risk and compliance consulting. Jaap Jan currently holds the position of Executive Consultant at ProjectiveGroup, where they work on transforming the financial services sector. Prior to this, they worked as an Executive Consultant at Enigma Consulting. In the future, they will be joining Nationale-Nederlanden as a Compliance Consultant. Jaap Jan has also held leadership positions as Chief Risk & Compliance Officer at GC Partners, MoneyMonk, Cashflows, and BitPay. Additionally, they have experience as the Head of Internal Audit at BTC Direct and BLOX, as well as the Head of Finance & Risk at PinDirect by Cyber & Mason.

Jaap Jan de Jong has a diverse education history. In 1994, they began their studies at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a degree in Management, Economics, and Law. Jaap Jan completed this program in 2000. In 2009, they attended the Nederlands Compliance Instituut and obtained a Certified Compliance Professional certification, focusing on Compliance/Integrity. In 2012, Jaap Jan de Jong furthered their education by studying Foundations of Banking Risk at the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). Lastly, in 2020, they engaged in a short-term course on AML & CDD provided by the Nederlands Compliance Instituut; however, no degree was received for this program.
