Marc Aplin

Marc Aplin is an experienced professional with a background in research, writing, and online community engagement. As a Parliamentary Assistant since July 2012, Aplin supports MP John Penrose in communicating with constituents through social media channels. Aplin also founded Fantasy-Faction, the world's largest genre fiction website, overseeing a team of 55 contributors in producing daily content. Previous roles include Editor at Education Today, a leading UK education publication, and Journalist for World Muay Thai Magazine, where Aplin documented experiences while training and competing in Thailand. Aplin holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from university and A-Levels in English Language and Literature, Business Studies, and ICT from Weston College.
