Coy Chen

Coy Chen is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product and UX/UI design. As a Partner and Product Design Lead at We Are Systematic since December 2019, Coy co-founded a product design agency emphasizing creativity and systematic approaches to design. Prior to this, Coy served as Product Design Director at Haleon, where the introduction of the company’s first digital product design discipline took place, alongside pioneering the use of behavioral design principles in healthcare products. Coy was also the Global Head of UI at HSBC, responsible for overseeing the global design system and fostering a design culture within the organization, having previously contributed to mobile design strategies as a UX/UI Design Manager. Early career highlights include co-founding LITTLE ONDINE, leading digital transformation efforts for TurnbullRipley, and designing user experiences for various projects at Snapp Mobile Germany GmbH and Digital White. Coy holds an MA in Interactive Media from the University of the Arts London and degrees in Multimedia Design and Interaction Design.
