Joe Kurtz

Joe Kurtz currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at We Insure, a position held since March 2024, while also taking on the role of EVP of Strategic Initiatives/Chief of Staff. Prior to this, Joe Kurtz was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at PEAK6 InsurTech from January 2022 to March 2024, following a tenure as Vice President at PEAK6 from November 2020 to December 2021. Joe Kurtz has extensive experience in the insurance industry, having held Vice President positions at National General Insurance from December 2016 to October 2020 and Zurich North America from February 2010 to December 2016. Earlier in the career, Joe Kurtz worked at Zurich North America as AVP - Application Director and Project Manager, and previously at Allstate Insurance and Accenture in various project management and consulting roles. Joe Kurtz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University between 1992 and 1996.
