Mohsin Afzal has had an impressive work history in the gaming and animation industries. In 2004, they joined Trango Interactive as a Technical Director and Senior Animator, overseeing the technical feasibility of projects and leading cross-functional teams on major campaigns for clients such as Discovery Chanel, Sega, and Nike. During their time there, they engineered an animation and asset management pipeline that was used in numerous international projects.

In 2009, Mohsin interned at Lucasfilm as a Product Marketing MBA Intern, where they worked on the marketing strategy and plan for Lucidity™, performed competitive analysis, recommended pricing and promotional strategies, and developed a forecasting model for online distribution.

In 2011, Mohsin became a Trustee at LettuceBee Kids, an organization focused on reintegrating street children into society through arts, crafts, music, and relationships with nature and elders.

In 2010, they founded we.R.play and served as the Co-founder and CEO. Mohsin grew the company from a small team of three to a team of over 80 designers, engineers, and QA analysts.

Most recently, in 2021, Mohsin started their own venture, Playdew, as the Founder.

Mohsin Afzal has a diverse education history. Mohsin completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Software Engineering at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) from 2001 to 2004. Later, in 2005 and 2006, they pursued a Diploma in Character Animation at Animation Mentor. Mohsin then pursued an MBA in Business Administration at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2008 to 2010. In 2009, they also attended Columbia Business School for a short period, where they focused on Marketing and Strategy.
