Ashley McFarlin Buie

Ashley McFarlin Buie has diverse work experience in various industries. Ashley started their career in 2006 as the President & CEO of Bird's Eye Entertainment, Inc., where they supported projects in the entertainment industry, focusing on television production, show development, and talent management. In 2011, they became an author and motivational speaker, sharing their personal story of finding peace and success through the Bible in their book "The Truth: Wrapped in Love." Ashley also worked as an Executive Producer for HotSnakes Media/OWN, where they oversaw the production of television shows. InVent TV appointed their as the Showrunner for Bravo's Southern Charm New Orleans, where they managed the development and production of the series, and they also worked as an Executive Producer for VH1's Meet The Mackies and VH1's Girls Cruise. Ashley has also been involved in education, serving as an Adjunct Professor at Montclair State University, a Guest Professor at Clark Atlanta University, and a Co Director for The Power of You Teens, Inc., a non-profit organization that mentors and empowers teenage girls. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Of Development at WE tv (AMC Networks).

From 1999 to 2003, Ashley McFarlin Buie pursued their undergraduate studies at Howard University. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications.
