Peter Looker

Dr Peter Looker is WMI Chief Academic and Learning Officer with responsibility for academic affairs, including relevant policies and processes, teaching approaches, faculty training in learning and teaching and overall professional development for faculty.

Peter completed a PhD at the Australian National University and became a lecturer in English Literature at the University of New South Wales, Canberra. A Teaching Fellowship in educational technology led to a new position in educational development and appointment as Head of Teaching and Learning at UNSW Asia, Singapore followed by a position as Associate Professor of Higher Education, University of Newcastle. For 10 years to 2020 he was head of Teaching, Learning and Pedagogy at Nanyang Technological University.
