Alex Kim

Alex Kim has a diverse work experience, starting with a current role as a Data Scientist at Wealthfront since April 2021. Before that, Alex worked as a Data Science Intern at the same company from June to September 2020. Alex also gained research experience as a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, where they focused on gentrification research with Prof. Jackelyn Hwang and Dr. Bina Shrimali from April 2019 to July 2020. In addition, Alex worked as a Research Assistant at Stanford University, developing computational frameworks for selective inference with Prof. Jonathan Taylor from June to December 2019. Before that, Alex worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford from January to April 2019. Alex also gained industry experience as a Machine Learning R&D Intern at NCSOFT in July and August 2018 and as a Fund Analyst Intern at StartX from May to September 2017.

Alex Kim completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford University, which spanned from 2016 to 2020. Subsequently, Alex pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Statistics at Stanford University, attending from 2019 to 2021.
