Matt van Engelen

Matt Van Engelen is a seasoned IT operations specialist with extensive experience in audio-visual support and digital media management. Currently serving as a Senior IT Operations Specialist at Wealthsimple since July 2021, Matt previously held positions at Shopify as AV Support Lead and at Rogers Media as a Creative Technology Specialist, where support was provided to various creative teams across print, video editing, and broadcasting. Prior roles at Rogers Communications included Operations Supervisor, where oversight was given to digital channel operations, and management of technical projects related to video codec and media delivery. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Toronto.
