Emma-Jayne Sherry

Emma-Jayne Sherry currently serves as the Senior Director of Communications and Engagement at Planet, as well as co-chair of Planet’s Women’s Network, since September 2022. Prior to this role, a maternity leave was taken from April 2021 to May 2022 to care for a child. Emma-Jayne's experience includes working as a Corporate Communications Consultant for Virgin Atlantic, where responsibilities included managing internal communications for 10,000 employees, and serving as Senior Director of Marketing & Communications at CBRE, where significant contributions included overseeing change management communications during a major acquisition. Extensive communications experience was also gained at Johnson Controls, leading teams and supporting global initiatives. Previous roles include PR consulting and management positions in several organizations, focusing on strategic communications and media engagement. Emma-Jayne holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Modern History from the University of St Andrews.
