Dean Thomas

Dean Thomas has over 20 years of work experience, primarily in the engineering and operations fields. Dean worked at Weartech International Ltd from 2010 to 2020, initially as an Engineering Manager and later as an Operations Director. As the Operations Director, Dean was responsible for overseeing operations at two locations in Wales and California. Dean successfully developed a strong team and improved operational efficiency, leading to profitability for the USA business. However, sales were severely impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic. Prior to Weartech International Ltd, Dean worked as an Engineering Manager at Wall Colmonoy from 2000 to 2002.

Dean Thomas has a diverse education history. Dean obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Swansea Institute of Higher Education from 2003 to 2005, where they earned an HNC degree in Business. Starting in 1997 and ending in 2000, Dean studied at CCTA Llanelli, where they obtained another HNC degree, this time in Mechanical Engineering. Dean's educational journey also includes attending Gorseinon College from 1991 to 1992, where they earned a BTEC ONC in Mechanical Engineering. Before that, from 1989 to 1991, they studied at Neath College, obtaining a City and Guilds degree in Mechanical Engineering.
