Laurie Porter

Laurie Porter is an experienced Attending Physician specializing in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center since February 2011. Additionally, Laurie serves as a Locum Tenens Otolaryngologist with Weatherby Healthcare since 2017. Prior to these roles, Laurie worked at Foundation Medical Partners from June 2006 to February 2011. Laurie's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (1996-2000), a Master's Degree in Microbiology and Immunology from Jefferson Health (1993-1995), and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Albright College (1989-1993). Laurie also has experience as a Les Mills BODYCOMBAT and CORE Instructor, along with FiTour Certified Group Cycle Instructor at YMCA of the USA from January 2017 to May 2020, and holds AIM1 Certification.
