Melisa Vázquez Román

Melisa Vázquez Román is a qualified petroleum engineer with extensive experience in well planning, reservoir management, and design engineering. Currently serving as a Well Planner at Weatherford since February 2024, Melisa focuses on trajectory optimization, anti-collision analysis, and database quality control for onshore wells. Previously, Melisa worked as a Design Engineer at Grupo IPS, collaborating on directional drilling proposals and supporting procedural operations for various tools. At PEMEX, experience was gained in reservoir management and well interventions, contributing to production enhancement and drilling operations documentation. Melisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and a professional examination from Universidad Autónoma del Carmen.
