Peeyush Rai

Peeyush Rai has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the technology industry. Peeyush is currently the CEO and Founder of weav.ai, a position they have held since April 2021. Peeyush is also the Inventor at chaibot.io, starting from October 2021. From October 2021 to December 2022, they worked as an Advisor to the CTO at Hum Capital.

Prior to their current roles, Peeyush served as the Co-Founder and Vice President of Engineering at Ciitizen from July 2018 to April 2022. At Ciitizen, they played a key role in building a data platform that revolutionized the use and sharing of health data. Peeyush utilized their expertise in AI, Computer Vision, NLP, and ML models to develop a powerful search and discovery interface.

Peeyush also worked as the Vice President of Engineering at Vera from April 2015 to July 2018. During their tenure, they built a global engineering organization of approximately 75 engineers and led the development of the company's Borderless Data Security solutions.

Before joining Vera, Peeyush co-founded Canvera in March 2007, where they served as the Co-founder, CTO, and Board Member until December 2015. Peeyush contributed to the development of Canvera's innovative solutions for the photography industry.

In addition, Peeyush has held leadership positions at newScale, Inc, Centrata, Euclid, and Corio, where they played key roles in product development, team building, and implementing agile processes. These experiences helped him develop a deep understanding of IT infrastructure management and SaaS application analytics.

Throughout their career, Peeyush Rai has demonstrated their ability to lead and innovate within the technology industry, making significant contributions to the companies they have worked with.

Peeyush Rai attended Campion School in Bhopal from 1975 to 1989. Peeyush then pursued their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 1989 to 1993.
