Shelby Mathers

Shelby Mathers, CEH, currently serves as the Cybersecurity Services Director at Weaver, a position held since December 2020, after previously working as the Cybersecurity Services Manager. In this role, Shelby focuses on executing and overseeing cybersecurity engagements, including maturity assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments, while guiding clients in identifying risks and improving their cybersecurity posture. Prior experience includes tenure at Plante Moran from November 2015 to November 2020 as a Cybersecurity Consulting Manager and Senior Consultant, where Shelby specialized in penetration testing and network security assessments across various industries. Earlier roles include Software Developer at Auto-Owners Insurance and Actuarial Intern at Delta Dental of Michigan. Shelby holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Michigan State University, earned in 2014.
