Matthew Cachia

Matthew Cachia has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies. Matthew began their career at Ixaris Systems Ltd in 2008, where they started as an intern and later became a Senior Programmer. Matthew'sresponsibilities included regression testing, integration testing, and working on Java Servlets and JSP. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Developer at Ixaris Systems Ltd, focusing on multi-tier maintenance and providing technical consultancy for the EntroPay consumer and business products. During this time, they also led a project to transition from Struts 1.x to Spring-MVC for the EntroPay consumer product.

In 2014, Matthew joined EntroPay as a Technical Architect, leading a team of three developers and two product managers. Matthew'srole included implementing technological advancements to make EntroPay a more competitive and up-to-date product. Matthew utilized technologies such as JBoss EAP, Hibernate, and Elasticsearch to enhance the platform's performance and reliability. Matthew also ensured its compatibility with cloud platforms like OpenShift, AWS, and Google Cloud.

Following their time at EntroPay, Matthew worked at Spigo as a Java Backend Developer from 2015 to 2016. Matthew was responsible for developing and maintaining the Spixx gaming platform, utilizing technologies such as Spring, JPA & Hibernate, and Wildfly within a Docker infrastructure.
