Filippo Franchini

Filippo Franchini is a Technical Educator at the Web3 Foundation since August 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Manager at Insel Gruppe from November 2020 to July 2022, where responsibilities encompassed managing a pharmacogenetics project, handling grant applications, and conducting genetic data analysis. Filippo also held roles as a Tutor in statistics and GIS at the University of St Andrews, a Co-supervisor and External Examiner at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland, and Co-Founder of earflydrones, focusing on the development of an acoustic multi-rotor drone. Earlier experiences include data science and software engineering at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland and serving in the Swiss Armed Forces. Academic achievements include a PhD in Statistics, a Master’s in Marine Mammal Science, and a Master’s in Tropical Marine Biology from esteemed institutions.
