Weber School District
Kim Irvine currently serves as a Secondary English Language Arts Curriculum Teacher-Leader and 8th Grade English Teacher at Weber School District, a position held since 2011. In addition, Kim is an ELA Curriculum Specialist and facilitates the implementation of the Common Core State Standards as a State Utah Core Facilitator/Instructor at the Utah State Office of Education. Previous leadership roles include serving as President of the Utah Council of Teachers of English and as an Editorial Board Member for the Standard Examiner. Kim also chaired the Utah English Quest, an annual competition for high school students, and taught English at Ogden City Schools from 1999 to 2010. Education was obtained from Weber State University.

Weber School District
Weber School District is located 40 minutes north of Salt Lake City, Utah shadowed by the majestic and beautiful Wasatch Front mountain range. They encompass all of Weber County with the exception of Ogden City. Campuses house four high schools, nine junior high schools and 29 elementary schools as well as special needs and alternative programs. Most students reside in suburban areas although many areas of the district would still be classified as rural. With over 30,000 students Weber School District is the 5th largest in Utah.
