Katherine Docampo

Katherine Docampo has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the Senior Vice President of Leadership and Impact Communications at Weber Shandwick, which they began in 2023. Prior to this, they spent over a decade at the World Economic Forum, where they held multiple roles. These roles include being the Head of Impact Communications from 2022 to 2023, Partner Development Lead from 2018 to 2022, Lead for Eurasia Business Engagement from 2015 to 2018, and Manager of Energy Utilities, Technologies, and Government Relations from 2011 to 2015.

Before joining the World Economic Forum, Katherine worked as an Assistant Account Executive for Russian Federation and Gazprom accounts at Ketchum Public Relations from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Fellow for the Global Energy and Environment Initiative at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in 2009.

Earlier in their career, Katherine worked as a Corporate Social Responsibility Fellow at Hill & Knowlton in 2009. Katherine also gained experience in publishing and media as a Correspondent, Copy-Editor, and Translator at Impress Media Publishing House from 2006 to 2008, and as a Summer Associate at Mmd in 2007.

Katherine's early professional experience includes working as a Legal Assistant at White & Associates, Attorneys at Law in 2006, where they conducted legal research on U.S. and Russian immigration law.

Katherine Docampo attended Syracuse University from 2007 to 2009, where they earned an M.S. degree in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. During the same period, they also obtained an M.A. degree in International Relations from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. Prior to their time at Syracuse University, Katherine attended Connecticut College from 2002 to 2006 and received a B.A. degree in Slavic Studies and History.
