Marissa Williams has worked in various roles across multiple companies throughout their career. Marissa began as an Associate Producer at MSNBC from June 2008 to August 2010. Following that, they worked as an Associate Producer at MTV Networks / Logo for a brief period from August 2010 to December 2010. Marissa then joined CBS News in March 2011 and held the position of Producer until July 2019. During their time at CBS News, they were responsible for client management, production, and the creation of promotional content for CBS News broadcasts, working closely with well-known anchors and correspondents. In August 2019, Marissa started working at Edelman as a Senior Account Supervisor, a role they held until June 2021. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Media Relations at Weber Shandwick, starting from July 2021.
Marissa Williams attended Georgia State University from 2004 to 2006, majoring in Broadcast Journalism. After that, they transferred to New York University and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Broadcast Journalism and History.
