Marton Harsanyi

VP Strategic Planning at Weber Shandwick

Marton Harsanyi has a diverse and extensive work experience in strategic planning and creative strategy. Marton started their career as an Account Manager at Leo Burnett, working on brands such as Coca-Cola and P&G. During this time, they provided valuable strategic insights and contributed to successful integrated campaigns.

Marton then joined Laboratory Group as a Strategic Planner, where they worked on digital projects for clients like IKEA and Volvo. Marton also developed integrated campaign strategies for Burger King, resulting in award-winning creative.

After this, Marton joined Leo Burnett again, this time as a Strategic Planner. Marton acted as the planning lead for Samsung in the Wider Europe region, overseeing strategic and creative products of regional offices. Marton was also involved in the development of local campaigns for Samsung's flagship products and the launch of a youth brand for OTP.

Marton then moved on to Digital Kitchen - a Hakuhodo company, where they served as a Senior Strategist. Here, they led the strategic development for various clients, focusing on experience design, corporate impact, and content & programming.

Marton then joined Digitas North America as an Associate Director, Creative Strategy. In this role, they spearheaded cross-functional planning for two flagship brands of PPG Industries, Glidden. Marton crafted annual briefs, informed creative and connections strategy, and successfully increased salience and consideration for Glidden through impactful campaigns.

Most recently, Marton Harsanyi joined Ogilvy as a Strategy Director, where they contributed to strategic planning efforts, bringing their expertise to develop innovative strategies.

Currently, they serve as the VP, Strategic Planning at Weber Shandwick, where they continue to leverage their strategic insights to drive business success.

Marton Harsanyi pursued their education chronologically, starting with their high school education at ELTE Radnóti Miklós Gyakorlógimnázium from 1996 to 2004. Following this, they went on to complete their Bachelor's degree in Advertising from Budapest Business School, spanning from 2004 to 2008. Later, they attended the University of Pécs, where they obtained a Master's degree in Marketing from 2008 to 2010.
