Rachel Jenkins

Rachel Jenkins, SHRM-CP, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles in talent acquisition, recruiting, and media planning. Rachel is currently a Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Diversity Resource Lead at Weber Shandwick since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Recruiter at dentsu international from April 2019 to January 2021, where they managed full-cycle recruitment for multiple media agencies.

Rachel also has experience in talent development and recruiting at KELLY SCOTT MADISON. Rachel served as the Director of Talent Development and Talent Engine from February 2017 to March 2019, where they focused on attracting and selecting diverse talent through innovative recruiting processes. Before that, they held the role of Director of Recruiting, Talent Engine, from January 2016 to February 2017, where they implemented an Applicant Tracking System and managed the hiring process. Additionally, they worked as an Associate Broadcast Director, Broadcast Supervisor, and Assistant Broadcast Supervisor, leading local television and radio activities and managing hiring efforts.

Prior to their media and talent acquisition roles, Rachel worked as a Trainer and Lead Service Coordinator at Child and Family Connections #7 in the Illinois Department of Human Services. Rachel was responsible for coordinating early intervention services for families with children with developmental delays or medical conditions. Additionally, they trained new service coordinators.

Rachel's early career includes teaching roles at The New England Center for Children, where they worked as a Level 1 and Level 2 Teacher.

Rachel Jenkins, SHRM-CP, completed their undergraduate studies at Williams College from 1998 to 2002, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School. Additionally, Rachel Jenkins obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in February 2022.
