William Mecker

William (Alex) Mecker is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in industrial design, product development, and user experience. Currently serving as the Director of Design, ID & UI/UX at Weber LLC since March 2019, William (Alex) Mecker leads product design initiatives and establishes cohesive experiences across digital and physical platforms. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Industrial Design and Global Design Innovation Lead at SC Johnson, where William (Alex) Mecker spearheaded product and brand innovation for various consumer goods. William (Alex) Mecker also has freelance design experience and began a foundation in industrial design with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University.
