Candace Byrdsong Williams

Candace Byrdsong Williams has a diverse work experience in the field of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Candace is currently working at Webflow as the Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Prior to this, they held the same role at Vimeo from October 2021 to September 2022.

Prior to Red Hat, Candace worked at Cisco as an HR Inclusion & Collaboration Project Manager from June 2015 to November 2017. Here, they managed various programs related to diversity and inclusion, including executive shadow programs, global mentoring programs, and employee resource groups. Candace also established strategic relationships to position Cisco as a thought leader in the diversity and inclusion space.

Candace'searlier work experiences include serving as a Human Resource Business Partner at WIRB-Copernicus Group from April 2013 to June 2015 and as a Manager of Diversity & Inclusion at Nationwide from February 2007 to April 2013. At WIRB-Copernicus Group, they provided HR support and managed processes during company mergers and acquisitions. At Nationwide, they launched a diversity and inclusion program for the NC region and collaborated with HR to recruit diverse talent.

Candace Byrdsong Williams completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety & Health and Industrial Hygiene from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Candace attended the university from 1992 to 1996.
